Faras is a platform which main purpose is to focus on providing all services to Vehicle owners in one App included but not limited to insurance, Services & workshop as it was a startup so we have to launch MVP initially.
My Role
I led the Design Process and my focus was on how I can design a product with proper solution for iOS and Android platform to the users and succeed as a business in competitive market!

Project Goal
To build a product which fulfill all Vehicle needs for the users in single platform.
Problem & Challanges
- Difficult for customer to get the Insurance as they have to wait for a day.
- Build a system so users will get insurance on the spot.
- Too much competition in the market.
- User feel that Insurance are expensive in UAE.
- Bridge the gap between users and insurance companies for claims.
- Users find difficult to find workshops, In case of Vehicle breakdown.
- In case of accident users have to inform authorities and need help with the vehicle.
- There is no app in the market with all of the features regarding Vehicles at one place.
- Launching of MVP in 12 Week time frame, to stand out in the market.
Solution
- Launch the product, where user will get all of the services related to Vehicles need in Single App.
- For MVP Launch User profile, Insurance and Initially in order to capture Market.
- Introducing Car wash feature as a service so user will get the benefit of services.
- Introduce workshop feature in the App so users will find nearby workshops in case of emergency.
- SOS feature for the help or in case of accident.
Brainstorming Ideas
Before starting into sketching, we’ve done brainstorming sessions with the rest of the team to encourage all kind of wild ideas and to understand objectives and problems to start with!
Understanding Dev and Backend Requirements
Faras was quite complicated project so in order to make and achieve proper solution for the end users, I need to understand as a designer how developers are creating their architecture and also to include them in the design process from beginning.
Competitive Analysis
To assess the strengths and weaknesses of current and potential competitors. I did a research looking for similar products and compared different options for users to identify the competition in the market which also help us to understand our competitors business model.
Demographics
Faras target market is in the UAE so we’ve look into the UAE demographics for our targeted audience to understand better who we’re creating a product for.
App Flow
For creating app structure we’ve used Maps and outline method to understand user flows and how IA work for the users.
Wire Frames
For visualizing user needs and user journeys, to onboard stake holders and rest of the team about design process I’ve created wireframes.
Creating Design System and Components
In order to maintain consistency and to design User interfaces in fast turn around I’ve created style guides and system.
